I started building online stores because a friend needed one — and the agencies she'd talked to wanted $30k for something that would still bounce every mobile visitor. I built her a better version in two weeks. It converted at three times the industry average.
That experience taught me two things. First, most e-commerce work is over-priced and under-thought. Second, when someone actually cares about the metrics, the results show up fast.
Eight years later, I've shipped 150+ stores across fashion, beauty, electronics, home, pet, and print-on-demand. I still care about the same things I did in week one: clarity, speed, and revenue.
